Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finance—Resolutions for Growth in the Year Ahead
FAITH
Faith: Be Outward Focused and Invite Others to Church
This year, my focus is to invite someone to church every week. Why? Because sharing faith isn’t just about inviting someone to a service—it’s about living with Jesus as the center of my life and being outwardly focused.
To do this, I need to:
Be intentional: Look for opportunities to connect with others, whether it’s coworkers, neighbors, or friends.
Focus on Jesus daily: When Christ is my focus, my actions and words naturally draw others to Him.
Pray for guidance: Ask God to place people in my life who need an invitation to discover His love.
This resolution isn’t just about inviting people to church—it’s about sharing hope, joy, and the life-changing message of Jesus.

Family: Plan Experiences to Create Memories
This year, I want to be intentional about planning family experiences that create lasting memories. While gifts and things fade, shared moments stay with us forever.
Here are some ways to focus on making memories:
Schedule family trips or outings: Whether it’s a weekend road trip, a hike, or even a day at the park, time together is what counts.
Start new traditions: Simple rituals like game nights, themed dinners, or seasonal activities can bring family closer.
Capture the moments: Take pictures, write about them, or create a scrapbook to relive the memories later.
It’s not about how much money or effort we spend—it’s about intentionally creating moments that strengthen family bonds.
FITNESS
Fitness: Get Stronger and Live Healthier
This year, my resolution is simple: get stronger. Strength is a key indicator of health and longevity, and achieving this goal requires a well-rounded approach:
Lift weights regularly: Resistance training is critical for building and maintaining strength as we age.
Prioritize nutrition: To get stronger, I need to fuel my body with whole, nutrient-dense foods that support recovery and growth.
Sleep and recover: Rest is as important as training. Getting quality sleep and taking time for recovery ensures I stay consistent and avoid injury.
Track progress: Setting measurable goals—like lifting heavier weights or improving endurance—will keep me on track.
Strength isn’t just physical—it’s about building a foundation for a longer, healthier life.
FINANCE
Finance: Adopt a Zero-Based Budget
This year, I’m committed to creating and sticking to a zero-based budget. That means every dollar has a purpose, and I know exactly where my money is going.
To make this happen:
Track income and expenses: Understand where my money is coming from and where it’s currently going.
Assign every dollar: From savings and bills to investments and discretionary spending, every dollar is allocated a job.
Identify waste: Cut out unnecessary expenses—like subscriptions or impulse purchases—that don’t align with my financial goals.
Focus on priorities: Use the budget to direct money toward what matters most, whether it’s paying off debt, saving for a big goal, or investing in the future.
This approach ensures that my money is working for me, not slipping away unnoticed.

Fitness: Strength is my focus this year. I’ll lift weights, eat right, prioritize sleep and recovery, and track my progress to ensure I’m building a healthier, stronger foundation for the future.
Finance: I’m adopting a zero-based budget to take control of my money. Every dollar will have a purpose, ensuring nothing slips away and resources are focused on my priorities.
